Emma Willard School Dance Company
A collaboration with the EWS Dance Company, this project began with a week-long in-person development lab and was originally to premiere in April of 2020. The company agreed that, in the environment created by the Covid-19 pandemic, where many people were struggling with the experience of isolation and reexamining values, this project was a perfect fit for an alternative way of presenting work.
The video on the left is of a run thought to have been a final dress run until the Spring when the piece would receive more development and have further technical elements added. The video on the right is how the company chose to present the piece due to the Covid lockdown.
